Approach

GRIP®approach for professionalisation of project organisations

Projects are becoming more and more important in organisations to effectively realise change and business objectives. As a result, organisations look for ways to streamline and standardise the associated processes.

Before starting with technical software issues, it is important that the user gets a clear insight into their organisational demands and the opportunities offered by the Principal Toolbox.

This was why we developed our GRIP® approach for result-oriented professionalisation of project organisations, has been developed. This implementation approach is based on PRINCE2 and Managing Successful Programmes (MSP).

GRIP approach

GRIP stands for Goal-oriented Rapid Implementation of Project management best practices. GRIP creates control and overview in your project organisation within a short period of time:

• GRIP focuses on the core needs (20% effort and 80% results)
• GRIP works top-down: first focus on core deliverables instead of
detailed activities
• GRIP creates a triple win: management, project management and
team members
• GRIP is based on globally accepted best practices such as PRINCE2
and Managing Successful Programmes (MSP)
• GRIP delivers effective software tooling (Principal Toolbox)

The GRIP approach has been used successfully by leading companies such as British American Tobacco, Wolters Kluwer and Adecco.
